Open-air Covered Event Pavilion

A year-round community gathering spot. The pavilion is a great venue for a get-together with friends or for hosting a birthday party. It’s located next to the pool to keep children and adults entertained for hours. Many of the community events that take place throughout the year happen right here in the event pavilion.

Kids Playground

Featuring a large play structure complete with a slide, sliding pole, multiple ladders, and more. It’s the perfect place for kids to meet up with their friends and burn some energy. At the Stargazer Event Lawn, the tots have their own age-appropriate playscape complete with awesome dirt digger!

Lounging Area with Fire Pit and Seating

Located next to the pool and the covered pavilion, the fire pit is a great place to relax, mingle, and converse with family and friends.

Oversized Swimming Pool for All Ages with Lanes for Laps

If you are looking to splash and play in the pool or get in a workout swimming some laps in the dedicated lap lanes, the MorningStar pool offers something for everyone.

Kids Splash Pad

For the kids who are not big enough to swim in the main pool, MorningStar has a splash pad just for them to enjoy some water fun in the sun.

1.5 Miles of Hiking and Biking Nature Trails

Take a walk or bike ride along our trails to get some fresh air and enjoy the scenery of Texas Hill Country. Residents are also able to get in a complete workout along the trails when stopping at one of the many energy stations which opened this summer. These stations include equipment and activities to workout arms & abs, legs & glutes, back & shoulders, and more.

On-site Dog Park

The MorningStar dog park features separate areas for large and small breeds, with secure entry areas for leashing and unleashing your dogs. Both the small and large dog areas include open play spaces, along with agility obstacles featuring tunnels, mounds and other challenges. Water fountains and a dog wash station are also provided.

75-Plus Acres of Open Space, Greenbelts, and Community Parks

MorningStar offers a plentiful amount of open spaces and parks for residents to enjoy easy living in the Texas Hill Country. The open areas, trails and parks have been carefully planned so residents can find the perfect balance between relaxation and recreation.

The Big Dipper Fishing Pond

With easy access via the robust trail system, you can take the family to the pond and pass down your love of fishing right from your extended back yard. The pond is fully stocked year-round for residents to enjoy. The Big Dipper also features a wildflower preserve, creating a perfect backdrop where residents can relax in the ambiance of the pond while enjoying a peaceful picnic.

Stargazer Event Lawn

The Stargazer Event Lawn is a great community gathering spot and entertainment center. This is the go-to spot for picnics and gatherings where residents can use the grills and tables while watching friends and family play games like Washer Toss, 6-Hole Disc Golf Course, and Hopscotch/Four Square courts. The event lawn hosts activities throughout the year where residents can gather, mingle and play.

Nature Trail Fitness Stations

The trails at MorningStar are the perfect place to enjoy the Texas Hill Country beauty. They are also the perfect place to get in your daily exercise—with 1.5 miles of hiking and biking trails, you can do just that. The trails are adorned with exercise-boosting energy stations. Stations where you can add in body weight-focused workouts for abs and arms, legs and glutes, back and shoulders, as well as end-of-workout stretches. You’ll be able to get your workout done for the day while enjoying a nature walk with the kids.

MorningStar Sports Park

This amenity-rich sports park will feature a regulation-size basketball court, zip line, rope climber, open-air event pavilion, plenty of open lawn space, and additional nature trails.

An additional event facility featuring a covered pavilion, luxurious pool, playscape, and plenty of preserved and well-maintained gathering space.
