  • Where are you from originally?

    Cleveland, Ohio.
  • What is your favorite podcast?

    Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations

  • What lights you up in life?

My daughters are the light of my life.
  • Tell us an interesting detail about you that many might not know?

I have a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, but don’t actively teach. I did
teach kids yoga as well and I love to practice yoga all over Austin. I am
learning to embrace ZOOM and social media classes whenever I can get
    the chance!

  • What do you love about homebuilding?

I love helping people find their perfect home, whether it is an inventory
home that meets all of their requirements in a short time frame; such as
the perfect lot size with bed / bath / school district; or building a dream
home that checks off all of the boxes on our family’s checklist, such as the
spa bathroom, extended garage, or the true home office that makes
relocation so attractive to the 150+ people that move here every day. I truly
believe your home (now more than ever) will be your best
investment. Where you spend your time matters, with the people you
    love the most!

  • What experience would you repeat?

Relocating to Austin, Texas from Ohio. This past October marked our 6-year anniversary and we would do it all over again with two young children, a golden retriever named Eddie, a pod storage unit, 28-foot U-Haul, two cars, and a lifetime of memories to move cross-country on the adventure of a life-time.
  • What are 3 adjectives that describe you best?

    Outgoing, Determined, and Kind.
  • What is/are your favorite Model(s), Floorplan(s) or Feature(s)?

One of my favorite floor plans is the Bryson, which we build on our 60’ lots.
It comes standard as a Farmhouse front elevation 4 bed/3.5 bath, study
and a game room, 2,752 SQ FT. The layout offers generous amounts of light
and a bonus room upstairs which can be used a number of ways. There is
also an option to have an in-law suite with kitchenette and private entrance, or
create a space that is uniquely yours. Perfect for a home business.

We currently have a Bryson model home underway & you can track its progress here!

  • One of my other favorite floor plans is the Michelle, which we build on our 60′ lots also. It’s a 3 bed/2.5 bath, 2,520 SQ FT. I love this plan because it includes a formal dining room area with an entryway from the kitchen, and I think this is an important feature for couples who love to entertain in a more formal setting. The layout offers generous amounts of light and a bonus room which can be used a number of ways: 4th bedroom, game room, in-law suite with kitchenette and private entrance, or create a space that is uniquely yours.

  • What is one of your favorite things to do in your city?

I love Lake Travis and Lady Bird Lake – anywhere near or in the water, whether it is jogging on the hike and bike trails or being on a boat enjoying a perfect Austin day is why I love calling Austin home 🙂
  • What is one thing you want people to know about your community?

Bryson is a master-planned community by the nation’s #1 developer, Johnson Development, that makes every effort to show respect for the family’s history. Such as using Texas Farmhouse and Craftsman architecture to pay tribute to the family’s first farmstead. Bryson amenities include resort-syle pool, playscape, covered pavilion with large stone fire pit, fishing pond, tower park, splash pad, the overlook, The Backyard Amenity Center, 1.5 miles of trails, and year-round activities such as yoga, boot camps, crawfish boil, and Harvest Fest. Bryson also has their own onsite Lifestyle Director who plans all of the year-round activities for the community.
  • What have you heard or listened to lately that has inspired you?

A book called “Revolution of the Soul” by Seane Corne. It has inspired me to keep on smiling when sometimes it can be tough on the days or weeks without a sale in the world of real estate.
  • What is the best advice you have ever been given?

The best advice came from my mother Mindy, “You can do anything for one year.” No matter how challenging the situation may be, face each new day head on and know that soon the struggle will pass and something will be gained from the experience.
