Find a mentor and know your why. What is your favorite Model, Floorplan, or Feature?
My favorite model has to be the one I personally built. We chose KB Home for their affordability and location. The floorplan we chose is the 2412, and we chose it because it was the best two story option for our large blended family. The master bedroom is the only bedroom downstairs, and it is off the back of the house so there is no one living above us. One of the deciding factors for us was placement of the game room. A lot of the new home builders put the game room adjacent to the master bedroom or above the master bedroom, in a two story house. With our children getting older and not so young anymore, we decided that having that noise and commotion near our bedroom was a huge deciding factor in the floor plan we chose. The second thing I love about the 2412 is the open living/kitchen/dining space. I can be cooking in the kitchen, and interacting with people in the huge great room.
