My first job in the industry was as a Realtor.
  • How did you get into real estate?

When my parents put our California house on the market, I was actively marketing the house to teachers at my high school. I was looking forward to moving to Texas and wanted to help get the house sold. Little did I know, I had the bug at 15 years old. Flash forward to my late twenties, when I decided to take my passion and turn it into a career. I took time off from studying to raise a family, and later circled back around in my mid thirties to finish classes and pass the exams.

  • What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?

  • In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

Find a mentor and know your why.
  • What is your favorite Model, Floorplan, or Feature?

My favorite model has to be the one I personally built. We chose KB Home for their affordability and location. The floorplan we chose is the 2412, and we chose it because it was the best two story option for our large blended family. The master bedroom is the only bedroom downstairs, and it is off the back of the house so there is no one living above us. One of the deciding factors for us was placement of the game room. A lot of the new home builders put the game room adjacent to the master bedroom or above the master bedroom, in a two story house. With our children getting older and not so young anymore, we decided that having that noise and commotion near our bedroom was a huge deciding factor in the floor plan we chose. The second thing I love about the 2412 is the open living/kitchen/dining space. I can be cooking in the kitchen, and interacting with people in the huge great room.

  • What are 3 adjectives that describe you best?

    Compassionate, Reliable, Patient.
  • What is one of your favorite things to do in your city?

In my town of Hutto, Texas, one of the favorite things I like to do is attend the Hutto Olde Tyme Days every October.
  • What is the best advice you have ever been given?

You cannot control other people, you can only control your reaction to them.
  • What have you heard or listened to lately that has inspired you?

I have been re-reading a book by Mark Manson called “The Subtle Art of Not Giving an F**K”
  • Do you have someone in your life that has been an exceptional mentor? Who? Why?

I would say my grandfather was an exceptional role model for me. He came here from Israel with his wife and two young boys, settled in Los Angeles, CA and grew a prosperous business from the ground up. He achieved the American dream of home ownership and built the foundation of hard work leads to great results.
  • What Charity do you support? Please tell us more about your involvement?

My husband and I support Habitat for Humanity. We have both volunteered to help build homes for families, and it brings us both joy and happiness to know we are contributing to others.
