    The La Cima community includes a 100-acre parkland area along Purgatory Creek, which will allow future connection to the existing Purgatory Creek green space, as well as approximately 700 acres to be donated to Hays County as the beginning of their Habitat Conservation Plan.

  • What is an average energy bill from your current home owners?

    Every home we build comes with an “Efficiency Promise” that guarantees the heating/cooling costs of the home for two years. The guarantee is based on the specific factors of each home’s construction, so buyers know exactly what to expect for their new home. The average heating/cooling cost for our floor plans is just $58.50 a month.

    La Cima is a premier Master Planned Community in San Marcos, located conveniently between Austin and San Antonio. It’s a great place to live for couples that have split commutes to Austin and San Antonio.

  • What will your homeowners be doing on the weekends?

    There’s so much to do in the San Marcos area! Float the river when the weather’s warm. Shop, dine, and enjoy live music at the historic square. Enjoy the numerous festivals and events that take place in San Marcos every year. San Antonio and Austin aren’t far away, so you have easy access to all that both cities offer as well.

  • What nearby restaurant would you recommend if an agent and potential buyer were leaving your community to go have lunch?

    Palmer’s Restaurant, Bar & Courtyard.

    Located in historic west San Marcos, Palmer’s is in a beautifully renovated building constructed in the 1920’s. The food is elevated, yet accessible…and overall, just plain delicious! They have a great brunch and cocktails as well.
