  • What lights you up in life?

    My girls! My wife is the love of my life and she is my best friend. She says that I focus so much on taking care of other people’s needs but she is the one who takes care of me. My daughter who is 9 is so witty, funny, and smart it’s crazy. They bring so much joy to my life and they keep me on my toes. I love taking care of them and making sure they know they are loved.

  • Tell us an interesting detail about you that many might not know?

    I was very shy until I was about 15 yrs old. I came out of my shell when I took a job as a little league umpire and quickly realized I couldn’t do it and be shy.
  • How did you get into homebuilding?

    My grandfather sold homes for 20+ years in Houston so I have been around this business my entire life. I started as a construction manager in 2006 at the age of 22. I have built homes, sold homes, managed construction teams, managed sales teams and now I’m currently focusing on Sales and Marketing for Pacesetter Homes. I love this business! January 10th will be 15 years.
  • What do you love about homebuilding?

    A lot of people work every day on things nobody will ever see. I help build communities that generations of families will enjoy. I love taking my daughter through communities that I have worked on and knowing the hard work that went into making something that will last several lifetimes.
  • What experience would you repeat?

    I have had the pleasure of helping start 3 home builders in DFW. I have learned so much from starting each one and I love seeing them thrive.
  • What are 3 adjectives that describe you best?

    Intense, Discipline and Focused
  • What is the best advice you have ever been given?

    You only have one name for yourself in this business so protect it. My grandfather uses to tell me that when I was a little kid.
  • Do you have someone in your life that has been an exceptional mentor? Who? Why?

    Blake Friesenhahn our VP has been a great mentor to me over my career. He knows where I want to go and he knows how to push me so I can get there.
