CHRIS HIGHTOWER JOINS SITTERLE HOMES
Houston, TX — Chris Hightower has joined Sitterle Homes as Division President for Houston. In his new role, which became effective mid-February 2021, Hightower will lead the fast-growing division and work with management to develop, implement, and achieve the division’s strategic and annual operating plans.
Chris Hightower comes to Sitterle Homes after a 25-year career at Perry Homes, where he last served as a senior vice president in charge of statewide operations, including support for design centers, estimating, purchasing, design production and warranty.
Hightower, who started his tenure just as Texas was hit with the worst winter storm in a generation, also stated that Sitterle Homes “surpassed our expectations in the recent freeze. Our product, like the foam insulation we use, weathered the recent freeze and proved that Sitterle Homes are quality homes.”
Hightower says that he was excited to join Sitterle Homes when the opportunity arose. He says the appeal of Sitterle Homes, as a family-owned homebuilder with a rich, 50-year history of building quality, luxury, and offering great customer service, made his decision very easy. Hightower notes that Sitterle Homes’ plan designs are unique and “very Texas” with their large living spaces and kitchens, tall ceilings, and with plenty of accents. Very different, he says, from what he typically sees. Hightower also notes that he was drawn to Sitterle because of its reputation for offering a luxury product that fills a strong demand for “millennials” and “empty nesters.” He says, “we build for everyone, but in the Houston market, we’re focused on high-quality garden style homes, with great amenities that people might not expect to see but that we’ve included standard.”
Chris Hightower is a graduate of Texas A&M University and has a background in architecture and environmental design.
