Samantha graduated from Kendall College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Hospitality Management in 2015. From there she worked at many different places before taking the leap towards real estate. Samantha and her family were able to purchase their first home in May 2020. There were good homes, and there were not so good homes while on the hunt. Her lists went on for days with detail. But when they finally found the house, it was their home. Not only was it their first home, it was in the middle of Covid, and with the Veterans Association. There were many priorities that went into the house, much of which were met with the purchasing of their home.
Not only was the goal to have house for herself to start and grow her family, but her number one priority before all else was to give a yard to her Basset Hound, where he could sunbathe for as long as he wanted, to let his nose run wild, and embrace his inner hound outside the dog park. Owning a home has been an amazing feeling. Samantha has decorated both of her kid’s rooms to fit their personalities, built a pantry where there wasn’t one and changed the whole dynamic of her yard. Being able to personalize, and make the house hers is one of the greatest feelings a homeowner has. Some people want large kitchens, or a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Once you add those personal items it is no longer just a house, it is their home.
In her spare time, Samantha still plans events, mainly her kid’s birthdays, planning trips to see the out of state family, rescuing pets around her community, finding their furever homes, and of course spending time with the family. Be it playing computer games with the husband, or taking her kids on adventures all over the Houston area.
