What was your first job in the industry?
2001 I was invited to move to Houston and become a New Home Sales Consultant with US Home, a sister company of Lennar/Village.
Where are you from originally?
Good Ol East Texas, a little town called Palestine.
How did you get into real estate?
While in college, during the summers I would come to Houston and intern with my Aunt who was a Sales Consultant at the time for US Home. I was fortunate to have her as a mentor, introducing me to the career path which I love still to this day.
What do you love about the industry?
Being just a small part of such an exciting journey for so many! Implementing Teamwork to help someone reach their goal of Homeownership. There is a true joy that comes along with this….what we get to do in this business!
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Remembering I am here to not Compete, but to Complete. Using my Experience and Giftedness to have Joy in the Journey, an Ease connecting with people, and a Drive to work hard for what I love.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
“There’s a home for everybody & a body for every home”.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
From my Grandfather: “Never let anyone steal your Joy.”
