Where are you from originally?
Born from Filipino parents, my father eloped and got married to my mom. He went to Canada seeking employment. A year later, mom sought him out (fly now pay later) at the Philippine consulate in Toronto. Can you imagine doing all that back during pre-internet, pre-smart device? I was born a few years later. What was your first job in the industry?
This is my second career. I did really well as a software consultant. After many years of working projects, large software implementation projects and then one major push of 90 hours a week, I decided to switch to real estate. Now instead of coding in a cold dark computer room for hours, I get to see people and properties. SOOOO much better.Where do you predominately sell real estate?
I have been super blessed to be able to help buyers purchase and sellers move to their next home 100% by referral since 2009. I have dedicated my entire income to the referrals from my previous clients, people who I meet and well-qualified business professionals. We have been able to serve more than 600+ families directly or through referrals to our large national network of realtor partners who also do business by referral. What do you love about the industry?
The process of buying and selling a home is super simple. I love the variety of people, personalities, challenges and daily drama. Sometimes I see some of the fun twists and turns like on HGTV.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Communication, technology/marketing, and experience. Communication is our priority from educating clients on areas best to purchase to details regarding the process. We like to over-communicate so that our client and the support team knows exactly where we are in the process. Today’s world is hyper changing and the methods are very technical and include many software platforms to promote a property or to analyze the merits of a transaction. We are able to nimbly navigate from concept to close. Experience is super key because we are able to anticipate much to avoid or to minimize roadblocks and hazards BEFORE they occur. Our industry has a very low number of agents who last the duration.Which Home Builders have you had a great experience working with in the last 12 months?
We love many of our smaller local builders because they have an excellent view of the market and add a touch of Houston to their projects. Adam Bakir from Incredible Homes, Jason Hassenstab from Elevated Development, Fred Harris from Trivium Development, Clint Vernon from Urban Lofts, Thomas Jennings/Brandon Rufener with InTown Homes, Mike Winoske with Lovett Homes, Yigal Kass with Crestview Homes.
