Fastest Growing City in Houston: Pearland

Pearland is the third-largest city in the Houston metropolitan area. From 2000 to 2010, it was ranked the fastest-growing city and the second fastest-growing city in the state of Texas. Pearland was established in the late 1890s after it became a siding switch on the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway in 1882.
