Owning a brand new home is such an amazing thing. Don’t be swayed by the “deal”, find the right area of town, the right community, the right builder (like First America Homes), and the right floor plan. If the builder has to give it away to get you to buy it, what are you going to have to give away when you sell it 5-7 years later?

I’m originally from Chicago and received my degree in Radio/TV from Southern Illinois University . My first “real” job was at a Radio Station in Longview, Texas. That is where I met my wife Julie (who is a Real Estate Agent), but I’ve been here since 1985 so I am “officially” a Texan.

My wife (Julie) and I enjoy sailing, Harley Riding, and drinking wine in Fredericksburg, TX; also I got my nickname (KennyG) from the Radio Station in Longview, one of the jocks could not pronounce my last name so he called me KennyG on air and the rest is history lol

I knew when I lived in Longview and met my wife that I would need a better job (Radio was fun but not a lot of money) so I answered an ad in the Dallas Morning News for a New Home Sales Counselor for General Homes and my decades-long career began.
