Where are you from originally?
I’m originally from a TERRIBLE place called Odessa, TX. You should never go there. It’s right next to Midland, TX and the one thing it’s got going for it is the oil field. Football is also a thing if you’ve ever heard of a book and/or movie and/or tv show called Friday Night Lights (Fun fact – that’s the high school I went to!).
Tell us an interesting detail about you that many might not know?
I was a flight attendant for 5 years before I started this job. It had its ups and downs (literally), but overall it was a really great experience!
Why are you in homebuilding?
The one thing that I’ve ever truly felt passionate about is people. Specifically, helping people. It makes me feel like I’m making someone’s world just a little bit better. When I think of doing that in the context of helping people create their home, it excites and energizes me and makes me genuinely look forward to going to work.

What experience would you repeat?
In all honestly, I would definitely repeat my flying career. As demanding as it could be, it provided me with so many opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere else!
What are 3 adjectives that describe you best?
Witty, sarcastic and caring. Those might seem slightly contradictory, but it’s true! As much as I love lame dad jokes and witty banter, I love taking care of people even more!
Lame dad joke: What do you call a bear with no teeth? A gummy bear!
What is one of your favorite things to do in your city?
Don’t get me wrong, I love eating tacos as much as the next person, but the one thing that I missed the most when I lived in Chicago was Texas country and two-stepping. You can’t beat it with a stick!
What is your favorite Model, Floorplan, or Feature?
I would say that my favorite model at this point would be the Sterling. The great room has the option to include large windows along one wall that looks out into the back yard providing tons of natural light.
