Where are you from originally?
I’m originally from a small town in Central Florida called Summerfield. I usually answer Ocala as my hometown seeing as it’s more recognizable, but we’re about an hour and a half north of Orlando.
Tell us an interesting detail about you that many might not know?
I used to own my own CrossFit gym back in Florida during the days where nobody knew what it was nor bragged about it relentlessly. It’s still up and running successfully!

Why are you in homebuilding?
I’m in homebuilding because it allows me to use my experience and knowledge from the lending side of the transaction to better assist families. Some of the most rewarding experiences of my life are being able to witness people genuinely impress themselves whether it’s with some sort of physical obstacle or with successfully working towards, and eventually purchasing their very first home. Any time I am able to be a part of something larger than myself is a day that I can leave this world satisfied.
What experience would you repeat?
Moving across the country with no real “plan”. As an avid “controller of all variables” the decision to relocate to Texas was quick and spontaneous. It’s turned out to be one of the most difficult, but also rewarding decisions of my life so far.
What are 3 adjectives that describe you best?
Hungry, humble, fiery – so I’ve been told
What is your favorite Model, Floorplan, or Feature?
My favorite floorplan that we offer out here in Meadow Park is our Claremore floorplan. It’s a master up option that includes 2 secondary bedrooms with a Jack & Jill bath, and also has the laundry located upstairs. It’s perfect for a young family and is also great for entertaining as it includes a study and spacious, open concept floorplan downstairs with lots of windows for natural light.
What is one thing you want people to know about your community?
Meadow Park is the closest community we have to downtown and is also a short drive to Sam Houston and Randolph AFB. Our families consists of lots of military, both active duty and retired along with younger families purchasing their first homes.
What have you heard or listened to lately that has inspired you?
One of the most inspirational books that I’ve listened to lately is a book recommended by my business mentor. It’s called “Pound the Stone” by Joshua Medcalf. I’m not a huge sports buff and this is related mostly to basketball, but there were so many incredible nuggets and little reminders that I have found myself constantly referring back to in both trying/stressful and rewarding moments.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Don’t worry about what everyone around you is doing, keep your blinders on and focusing on doing your best every day.
