What is your best advice for new home buyers?
Trust your gut (instincts)….if you keep circling back to a certain house/community/builder, that’s probably “the one”! Don’t overthink the process…no home is perfect and you want to find one that checks most of your boxes, but you can always put your own touches on it to make it feel like home. Buying a house in Texas is a life-changing experience and can be a dream come true, but remember to keep a level head, know how much house you can afford, and work with a team of experts (new home sales consultant/real estate agent) to make this dream a reality.
What is one thing you want people to know about your community?
Hill country living with resort-style amenities that include a lazy river, a dedicated fitness center, and 3 pools, all in close proximity to all conveniences the city has to offer.
Where are you from originally?
Born in Chicago and raised in west central Wisconsin.
What is your favorite podcast?
Curse Free Gary Vee
What do you love about homebuilding?
The process as a whole…selecting the homesite, floorplan, structural options, and design features are all great details that go into making a new build become not just a house, but a home. Helping folks navigate the path to that eventual home, and discovering what the buyer is envisioning their new home to be, is very exciting!
Tell us an interesting detail about you that many might not know?
The military (Combat Veteran/Army/Desert Storm) brought me to Texas, and I fell in love with the state (met my wife here) and have been here ever since!
How did you get into homebuilding?
My first gig after my time in the military was working for a lumber/building materials company (Stripling-Blake Lumber / now BMC West, LLC), which led to several sales positions in various sectors of new construction, which ultimately led to new home sales.
What experience would you repeat?
Meeting my wife in a flood, the birth of our two daughters, and waking my oldest daughter down the isle. (Sorry, too hard to pick just one!)

What are 3 adjectives that describe you best?
Honest, Friendly, Trustworthy
What is one of your favorite things to do in your city?
Tubing the Comal River!
What is your favorite Model, Floorplan or Feature?

What have you heard or listened to lately that has inspired you?
The Art Of Livin’ session with Matthew McConaughey and distinguished guests.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
You have to wake up every single day and decide what you’re working towards and every single decision you make needs to align with that goal, otherwise you will wake up in ten years with no growth. You have to make conscious decisions that align with the life you want.
What lights you up in life?
My family!
Do you have someone in your life that has been an exceptional mentor? Who? Why?
My spiritual mentor, Greg. He always pointed me back to what the word of God had to say about everything in life, which taught me that I was part of something much bigger than myself.
