  • Where are you from originally?

    Wichita Falls, Texas.
  • What was your first job in the industry?

    Real Estate Agent.
  • Tell us an interesting detail about you that many might not know?

I am very family oriented and had a wonderful relationship with my grandparents who are no longer with us. I have a huge soft spot for helping older generations (men , women and couples) and believe they deserve all the help they can get because often times I believe they can be neglected in many aspects of society.
  • How did you get into real estate?

I’ve been in the Car business as a service adviser for eight and a half years and thought it would be a smooth transition.
  • Where do you predominately sell real estate?

    North East San Antonio.
  • What do you love about the industry?

Meeting people and getting to know them.
  • How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?

I use a lot of video marketing and my process is adapting with experience.
  • Which Home Builders have you had a great experience working with in the last 12 months?

Bella Vista Homes, Princeton Classic Homes, KB Home, Everview Homes and Texas Homes.
  • What is your favorite Model, Floorplan, or Feature?

    Texas Homes Chandler Crossing.
  • What is your favorite Podcast?

I would love suggestions for a good podcast.
  • What is your advice for someone new to the industry?

Let everyone in your sphere of influence know that you are becoming a realtor at least 4 months before you become licensed. Prepare them over and over so they know that soon you will be able to help them buy or sell.
  • What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?

    Independence one.
  • What experience would you repeat?

Being more social in the last 5 years of living in San Antonio. I believe that is my biggest downfall because I never had the time or made the time to get myself in front of people and now am finding that my sphere of influence is rather small and wish I had taken more opportunities to grow it.
  • What are 3 adjectives that describe you best?

    Encouraging, Attentive, Caring.
  • What is one of your favorite things to do in your city?

    Exercise.

  • What have you heard or listened to lately that has inspired you?

7 levels of communication audio book.
  • What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Early in the car business I learned if you treat all your clients the way you treat your mother then they will always know that you actually care and you’ll never have to worry about making someone feel like they’re being “sold.”
  • What lights you up in life?

    I live to travel.
  • Do you have someone in your life that has been an exceptional mentor? Who? Why?

The person who taught me everything that I know in the car business… He not only taught me what to do and how to do it but he put up with me constantly asking “why.”
When teaching someone to learn a trade, you cant just instruct them what to do but you have to explain to them why it must be done this way or why you’re doing it. Otherwise when the student comes to a similar situation they wont know if it is truly the proper action to take or if they are just doing it because that is what they’ve been told.
I’m still trying to find that type of mentor in Real Estate.
  • What Charity do you support? Please tell us more about your involvement?

So far I have not found a charity to support but would most likely have something to do with either Children’s Cancer or Homelessness in the LGBT youth community.
