Boerne Living

With just over 13,000 people in the city limits, Boerne offers all the benefits of a small town while also incorporating a lot of Big City elements. The historic downtown area has been totally revamped to provide a boutique, local business vibe. There are a number of shops to peruse and plenty of local fare to sample. Families in Boerne also receive some of the best education in the San Antonio area. With 11 campuses to choose from, the Boerne Independent School District has a school close to every new home community in the area. From swim to football to cheer to golf, there is also a lively athletics community to cheer.

Of course, Boerne residents also access to modern necessities, like an H-E-B Plus close by. Target, Walmart, and other big store names are all right in the neighborhood, as well. Just a quick jaunt south on I-10, residents can access other big chain stores, large shopping outlets, and more.

Parents can rest easy in Boerne, knowing that world-class health care is also just a few minutes away. St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, Boerne Pediatrics, and Medical Center West are all available, as well as a wide selection of family doctors, dentists, and even veterinarians.

And for those adults who commute to the downtown San Antonio area for work, the direct route on I-10 is quite helpful. In about 40 minutes, residents can get from their house to their office.
