What do families love about living in this area the most?
Families love being part of all the excitement that is San Antonio. San Antonio’s South East side continues to expand with several things to enjoy and be part of. The University of the Incarnate Word and Texas A&M University both have campuses at Brooks City-Base. You can find two movie theaters, Pump It Up, Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream shops, great restaurants & The Republic Golf Club. The location is truly ideal, with only a short drive from San Antonio’s most iconic sites. In just 7 short miles, you can find the San Antonio Riverwalk, Pearl Farmer’s Market, Southtown, Blue Star, King William Historic District, Tower of the Americas, The DoSeum at Mahncke Park and so much more! You truly feel part of the city when you live near the heart of it all.
What is one of your favorite things to do on this side of town?
I enjoy taking my children to the local city parks: The Greenline, Pickwell Park and don’t forget about fishing and feeding the ducks at Southside Lions Park.
What is your favorite restaurant in the city?
Really?!?! Do I actually have to only pick ONE???? San Antonio has sooooo many great places! For a local restaurant with authentic food, I’d have to say Tito’s Mexican Restaurant.
What Home Builders have you had a great experience working with in this area in last 12 months?
New vs. Resale= You’re Call; however, I have had wonderful experiences already with Express Homes by DR Horton and Armadillo Homes. Both are zoned for East Central ISD.
Anything else you’d like to add about selling or living on the south east side of town?
The south east side of San Antonio is one of the up and coming areas people are gravitating towards. With the overall growth, you can now find several master-planned communities to choose from.
